AAC22 Event Details

ASD Crawlers RC is excited to announce our 6th Annual Autism Awareness Crawl (#AAC22). We invite our Crawling Family out to join us for another family-oriented day of crawling while spreading awareness and raising some funds for charity at the same time.

We had an amazing turn out last year, a lot of people met new friends and we're able to hang out with old friends as well. With your participation, our amazing sponsors and volunteers, we raised $14K which was split up and donated to two local non-profit charities. The Lynn Center, Contra Costa ARC and Fly Brave Organization.
The Lynn Center “exists to enhance and enrich the lives of children with special needs and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Toward that end we provide direct services and advocacy to assist those we serve in achieving their highest level of personal independence and self-sufficiency.” (http://www.contracostaarc.com/mission-values/).
Fly Brave Organization’s mission is to create employment and training programs for adults with developmental disabilities that have aged out of the school system, focusing on three essential building blocks; hands on skills training with the community, social skills and healthy living. (http://www.flybrave.org/mission.html)

This is year we aim to Crawl right over our accomplishments of previous years and CRUSH our record.
Just as we did last year, we will donate all of our proceeds earned to a local nonprofit organization.
We invite you to come and play with us, camp with us, and raise awareness with us at Bear River Lake Resort, Pioneer, CA.

Check out the lineup of activities to choose from!
  • Multiple trails with their own challenges from mild to wild.
  • * NorCal RC Monster Truck Showdown hosts the AAC Special Series Monster Truck Races.
  • Park and Playground and some additional activities for the little ones
  • Horse shoe pits
  • Too hot? Take a dip in the kids pool (floaties required for all adults) or head on over to the air cooled recreational hall!
  • BBQ Hot dogs will be available for lunch for each paid participant.
  • Vendor Row! Come swing through and see the latest and greatest from your favorite vendors. They'll also have some products on site to purchase for "that trail-fix gone wrong" that happens to all of us.

  • Wrap up Meeting and RAFFLES!!!!
  • NIGHT CRAWL is BACK! We’ve changed the scene a bit, but there’s no doubt that you’ll have a blast with the crew crawling the night away!
